I've ordered an item from a UK company website, but my transaction was converted into USD and the recipient shows as an individual and NOT the company... Also the company online contact facility doesn't work and I'm not even sure if the stated postal address in Wales even exists.... Does this sound odd?... The payment is still showing as 'pending" in my bank account at the moment.

Sounds odd, as long as you paid using goods/services then check out the link if things go wrong.
