Often when I make a purchase using my PayPal MasterCard, the purchase doesn't get added to my credit but, instead, is immediatly deducted from my associated checking account. How can I prevent that from happening? It sometimes causes me to be overdrawn and get charged a big fee. I'd rather the purchase was declined rather that deducting from my checking account. I'm not near my credit limit.
