I'm reaching out because I'm facing a frustrating situation with a missing authorization on my PayPal account linked to my eBay activity.
Here's what happened:
- I received a notification on my PayPal account for a $142.87 pre-authorization.
- Shortly after, the notification disappeared from my account.
- There are no corresponding emails, invoices, or receipts for this transaction.
- However, the funds have been debited from my bank account.
I contacted PayPal support, and they mentioned it might be a reversed authorization with the funds returned to my bank. However, my bank statement shows the money is still gone.
I'm hoping to find someone in the community who has encountered a similar situation or has expertise in dealing with missing pre-authorizations and disappearing notifications on PayPal due to eBay purchases.
Any advice on how to get my funds back or whom to contact at eBay for further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
