I already have an established personal account and want to upgrade to a Premier account. It has been explained to me that I have to upgrade to a Business account, then ask for a downgrade to a Premier account (which btw, seems very weird, why not just let you choose the correct one upfront??) but what I cannot seem to find an answer to is this...

what is the difference?

Is there a monthly fee charged for the upgraded accounts?

are transactions handled differently and/or is there different fees for transactions on upgraded accounts?

**I u/s the additional fee for the merchant (business) use accounts, that is outlined pretty good, but I cannot find any info on the premier account.

Thanks for any help

That's curious because I just signed up for PayPal Here tonight so I could get the swiper to use for payments at craft shows and was automatically upgraded from Personal to Premier. (When given the options of 'Personal (Less Than $500)' and 'Business or Non-Profit' during sign up, I chose Personal because I haven't officially established a business yet.)

Unfortunately, it appears that my Android 4.1 Tracfone isn't compatible with the swiper so it looks like I'll be stuck keying in the payments and paying the higher percentage + per transaction fee anyway.

What happened to the old PayPal page where I could find everything? Where can we find out about the differences in the different accounts you offer... Personal or Business or Premiere...???

Just can't find much info anywhere by clicking around... trying to find something in the forums isn't much easier...
