Hi,
I've just sold something on Ebay. When the winning bidder tries to pay me however, PayPal tells me that in order to claim my payment I need to set up a business account. I'm not a business, so why do I have to do this?
Also, it seems they are trying to pay me through an old email address that is no longer associated with my PayPal account. Why is this still saved on the system but no longer in my account settings?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

This is not true, you can sell just fine with a personal account, including accepting credit cards.
