Hello,
I live in Germany and have 2 German (Euro) PayPal accounts, a Private and a Business one. I use the private one for buying, and have never used the Business Account till now.
The Godmother of one of my children wants to send them an amount of money. She lives in England and does not have a PayPal account, only a sterling bank account. We would want to withdraw the money she transfers in pounds, as Euros.
Private bank transactions - both ways - Pounds to Euros and Euros to Pounds - between Germany and England charge a lot in bank fees ( the sender and recipient banks, + the clearing bank in Frankfurt ).
I am hoping PayPal would charge less fees. Can anyone advise me ?
Thanks a lot,
Kuroosh.

Per your post, " She lives in England and does not have a PayPal account,"
As kernowlass pointed out, she would first have to have a PayPal account. After that you can look up the conversion rates.

I found a REQUEST MONEY form on the PayPal site, and it states:
You can request a payment from anyone with an email address even if they do not have a PayPal account.
And I read another thread on this site:
The recipient will receive an email informing them of your request for payment which contains a link, they can pay just using their card details and do not have to create an account.
But what would the link be ? I don't have a website with PayPal on it. Would it be a link to my PayPal site ?

Yes, you can send someone an a request payment or invoice to anyone without a PayPal account. There's a link in the email that will take them to a PayPal page. They complete the checkout process and the funds will be deposited into your account. Note, there are fees for this service. This is not the same as sending funds from one PayPal Account to another PayPal account where as no fees are charged.
