Since Etrade wants a routing number and an account number in order to do transfers, I guess that may be at the heart of my question. I just want to be able to tranfer money From Etrade, To Paypal occasionally.
Unfortunately there's no features or options to support what you have in mind. PayPal accounts are designed to link/communicate using your email address (there's no account number or routing number provided to the users).
