Can somebody help please? i'm new to this.

My friend is buying something from me online would he be able to send the money to a debit card that i've linked to my paypal or does that card have to be linked to a bank aswell?  This is my paycheck card that I got from my work and I normally withdraw money from a cashpoints i've never actually had it set up to a " bank account ".  Would he still be able to send me money to that card?

I'm not trying to get the money in cash I just want it on my card so I can purchase things online.
