No one has been able to print a shipping label through PayPal since yesterday afternoon. Tried everything, and still won't work. The Community Forums on ebay have many posts about this same problem, so it needs to be fixed asap.

Just to let everyone know....there are a ton of people out there that are upset about this problem with not being able to print your shipping labels (I'm one of them). You can find more information  & see what's being said about it here:

https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/My-Feedback-for-PayPal/bd-p/US-Feedback

I finally managed to get in touch with someone from PayPal.....had 2 people give me 2 different answers about what's going on. PayPal customer service has not handled this very well at all. There should be no reason why you should not be able to use your regular browsers, etc. The technical dept. should be able to either fix this or change things back to the way they were before the problem started.

For those who don't wish to use another browser (I use Firefox), I did find out yesterday that if you use multi-order shipping, it prints your labels out just fine! I just happened to think of it yesterday after having to void my labels AGAIN. So, why does that work, but printing them from your summary page doesn't?!? It doesn't make any kind of sense since you're still on the PayPal website. Hopefully, someone from PayPal will see all these posts in the forums & do something about fixing the problems.

I have just got this issue in the past few days. Keep in mind all of my label printing is through PayPal only (so not through ebay or anything like that). I have found that this is how the issue acts for me (This is using FireFox : 33.0.2)

I will attempt to print a shipping label and the normal printing poup window will appear but it will say "The connection was interupted"  and list some possable reasons for this. I will then click the "try again" button that is on the bottom of the window.

It will then refreash the window and go to the "Please wait......processing" message and it will stay there indefinatly without ever loading.

Any further attempts to close the popup window and reprint the label will open the print popup window again, but go directly to the "Please wait.....processsing" message and stay there without ever loading.

I have had to resort to printing with IE and, as of yet, that workaround has worked for me. The labels print as they normally would with Internet Explorer. It's just a pain to have to switch browsers to do what should be able to be done in FireFox and I am afraid that IE may stop printing the labels for me just as others have reported.

I had this same issue all weekend. After emailing them they said to call them. I explained that with firefox I get the "processing....please wait" message and it never gets past that. When I try chrome, they say they don't support the latest java update and wont even try to show the label. When I try safari, it straight up tells me that java is blocking paypal because of security. Paypal didn't even have a suggestion for me. They said they were doing an update at the moment and could void my labels for me. I said, "After researching, this seems like an obvious issue that has been going on for a while. When is this suppose to be resolved?" She replied, "today". lol Riiiiiiiight.

I find that CHROME continues to print up PAYPAL shipping labels as a workaround for printing problems described above as occurring in both FireFox and IE browsers.

I am using CHROME Version 38.0.2125.111 m with all current updates.

Also my JAVA is up to date and works with the Chrome version sited, running Windows 7, with McAffee Security Center Version/Build: 12.8.992, McAffee Spyware/Anti-Virus: 16.8.821 , and McAffee Firewall: 13.8.724

I have switched over to CHROME all of my online sales listings, sales, payment, and shipping label processing because now it is the only browser I find compatible with PayPal. It was easy to import all of my bookmarks using the auto import feature in Chrome.

I too find it odd that there has not been an official notification of this issue or fix. It began for me a couple weeks ago.

At least PayPal could offer suggestions for a workaround. It took me a few hours to figure it out and find this forumn.

Computers are creepy little monsters. Thousands of combinations of operating programs, applications, extensions, security filters, browsers, settings, and you never know what causes the glitch. But if enough people experience the same failure eventually it reaches critical mass motivating someone in charge to find and order a fix.

Here I am, AGAIN!!! This problem of not being able to print out my shipping labels has been going on for over a week now! I finally got through to PayPal support, after receiving an automated reply that didn't address the problem. Actually, I got 2 replies, one giving me the run-around about Java updates, different browsers, etc., etc. & the other saying that it was a problem caused by an update PayPal has been doing! No one seems to know how long this is going to last, but it's getting really old!

I went online again, tonight, to try & print out my labels, for all the good it did. I still get the blank white page that says "processing". Then I get charged for a label I never saw & which never printed! Then I have to go through the "void this label" & continue to wait for all the voided labels that need to be refunded over the past week or 2.

Yesterday, I got the bright idea to try to print out my labels in multi-order shipping, just to see whether it would work. I didn't think it would since it was still on PayPal, but lo & behold, the labels printed with no problem (just like always when I used multi-order shipping)! So, I'm thinking, why can you print out shipping labels there when you no longer can from your summary page on PayPal?!? It makes no sense whatsoever.

But what is most frustrating is that PayPal has not had the courtesy to notify us that there is a problem & they don't seem to be doing anything to fix the situation! I've used PayPal for yrs. & hit a few glitches here & there, but never anything like this. All these weird problems just started happening when PayPal decided to "update their format" a few mo. ago with this horrible new look. Ever since then, it's been one thing right after the other.....

Anyway, even though it's aggravating to have to go to multi-order shipping to print your labels, I guess it's better than having to use a new browser, etc. when you don't want to. Just thought I'd contribute this for those of you who want to keep using Firefox. Hopefully, PayPal will get on the ball & get this fixed....eventually. It's just extremely frustrating that they can't seem to fix this when they're supposed to have the technical expertise to do it!
