Charge back reason "other", used to be "unauthorized payment"

I am currently fighting 16 chargebacks from the same buyer who made all the purchases within the same week.
Background:
I sold this fraud PIN refills for T-Mobile (I sell prepaid refills and SIM cards) and delivered them through email (now I know not the smartest thing to do) and had no shipment proof. I gave paypal everything I had, copies of the emails sent with the PIN numbers, feedback left by the buyer on eBay (all positive), and messages from him that confirmed receipt.
PayPal sent me 16 messages saying I didn't meet seller protection requirments (I already knew that) and then sent 16 more saying they were going to "dispute the case on my behalf" even though I didn't meet protection requirments and it could take up to 75 days to get another response.
Question:
All 16 chargebacks use to say "Reason for chargeback: Unathorized payment" with reason code 83. Now they all are slowly (currently 11 out of the 16) being changed to "Reason for chargeback: other" with no reason code.
I want to know if anybody knows what this means? Is it a good thing for me or a bad thing for me?

Sounds like a new change for all of us. Thanks for the post. As for the effect, good or bad, no clue.

thanks for the reply. Now 16 of the 16 have been changed to other. No news from paypal yet.
I also forgot to mention I have spoken to other eBay sellers who got disputed too from the same buyer, same item, and sent them as email. I haven't spoken to them in awhile, so I am not sure what has happened to them with the chargebacks.

It is a bad thing for you. Never deliver by email - It is often a violation not only of eBay but also PayPal policy. Purchases under $250 do not require signature confirmation, however do require online tracking. Even delivery by email with both a delivery notification and received and read notification does not protect you. Suggest if sending the information by email, also send it by First Class package. 56 Cent Investment, these would likely have been covered as you would have online tracking of the delivery. PayPal Seller Protection does not apply to items with local pick up either, even if you copy identification, obtain signatures of the buyer. Consider this a Learning Experience...
