New Seller Funds Availability

I've been a new seller for just under 3 months but I'm not near the required 25 successful transactions so I'll be subject to the limited funds availability policy for a while.
Even after paying postage and printing the shipping label/receiving tracking through eBay and being left a positive feedback by my buyer, my funds are still not available for three days. This is not a good policy. The item is confirmed delivered through tracking and my customer has told me and the world they're happy with their purchase. There is no reason for Paypal to hold on to my money beyond that point.

Feedback does not count as payment release.

Seller prints tracking label on eBay, or uses another carrier that provides tracking information, then manually enters postage tracking information on eBay. Estimated delivery date + 3 days.
Seller indicates when the item has been dispatched in My eBay Estimated delivery date + 7 days.
Seller doesn't upload any information or mark item as dispatched 21 days Buyer opens a case against the seller Until the case has been closed

No "estimate" necessary - when we look up the USPS tracking number at their website we confirm the package has been delivered.
No it's not policy that a positive feedback will get funds released faster but that rumor was going around. Things you can do to get funds released earlier: 1. Buy postage and print shipping label through eBay - tracking number is automatically loaded into sales history - and 2. make your buyer happy.
I was able to get the funds released by making a call to customer service but that gets old. I think it's the sixth time I've done that. Hopefully I'm coming up on 25 successful transactions.

Well thats the policy I gave you and thats what paypal use. Estimated delivery date + x amount of days.
They work that out beforehand they don't bother to check the tracking number unless a dispute is filed hence as long as you have added the tracking number they "estimate" delivery and add on the 3 or so days.
