I was going to sell a laptop to someone over craiglist ,buyer asked to use paypal, i insisted to create and invoice for him to pay for over paypal. We both agree, but i am new to using paypal to sell items on. Basically my question is when i create the invoice and add his email to "bill to" is that all i need or do i have to also add his name, address, and billing address just to be safe and get seller protection?

The invoice should included the buyer name AND mailing address, complete description of the item, pictures of the item, shipping costs, return policies, and any other relevant business information.
Send it to the person's email address; the buyer does not need to have a PayPal account. The buyer can pay invoice with a credit card.
CAUTION
There are many scammer buyers on Craig's list, especially when it comes to electronics. Selling electronics on Craig's list is very high risk. Make sure you ship it with tracking information that is made part of the transaction.
