hi, i would like to know how to get payments from clients and advertising companies through my merchant ID i mean i look through paypal and aside from having the buttons on one's site which will then redirect them to paypal i cannot see a way to send a business money without having the business email address
The Merchant ID can only be used as the "business" variable value in your item button code or text (hyperlinks).
The intent of Merchant ID is a substitute for your PayPal email address in the item button code. In the early PayPal years, people were concerned about having their email address harvested from their web pages. As a result, PayPal came up with the Merchant ID.
