Double Charge from Target on PayPal Credit?

Hey all,

I recently purchased something on PayPal Credit in the amount of $530 from Target. This purchase was only one item and approved through Target - however, I am noticing that there are two separate authorizations for this purchase on my account, each in the amount of $530 (I am rounding but it is the same exact amount). It has two separate authorization numbers for this.

Is this a typical action on PayPal Credit's behalf? Will I be charged twice for this purchase? Or is it a matter of a "safety charge", where they charge twice the amount of the item only temporarily?

I'm just very confused why I'm being charged twice for only one item.

One may be the authorization and one may be the charge.

Without actually seeing the lines in your transaction acitivity there is no way of knowing.

We don't see the activity in your PayPal Credit activity either.

You need to coodinate and compare transactions in PayPal and PayPal Credit.
