Help Integrating Paypal Here and WooCommerce Inventory

We have a relatively new business that has a website (WordPress running WooCommerce) but also takes mobile payments via PayPal Here. The rub is that whenever we take mobile payments via PayPal Here, the quantities sold are not deducted in the WooCommerce inventory.  We're working with a developer to try to integrate the two - right now we effectively have to take a physical inventory every time we sell anything at a mobile site and adjust the WooCommerce inventories  which quite simply is not getting done as often as it should.

I am an accountant, not a Developer so I wanted to run this by someone else to get some thoughts. Now I was told that if we were to use an SDK, we would be able to get the PayPal Here transactions to update the inventory levels of the respective products in WooCommerce.  That may trigger some 30-day holds in the credit card transactions as they would receive the credit cards as manual entries, but that we could get around that by upgrading to a Paypal Merchant Account.

I'm trying to do some due diligence so we don't end up wasting a ton of money.  Does this make sense to anyone?  We can't be the only business to operate a website and mobile store like this?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Suggest you phone PayPal and get through to a PayPal Here technical person.  They do have people with technical knowlege.

We are having a similar issue/frustration. We have an online store (wordpress/woocommerce) that runs year-round and uses Paypal as our payment gateway. We'd like to use the woocommerce inventory function to manage our stock. However, we also have a small farm store that is open in the summer, and we use Paypal Here to process our transactions in the store. There seems to be no simple way to integrate the two. At this point, if an item is purchased in the physical store, it is not taken out of stock in the woocommerce store - we'd have to go through each day and manually delete items from stock. I am following a thread in the woocommerce forum where people have asked for a plugin - but it would also be wonderful if Paypal stepped in with a solution. Like the original post stated above, we can't be the only business out there using woocommerce/paypal that has both an online store and a brick and mortar store. If anyone has any solutions that don't involve thousands of $ to hire a developer, please let me know!

We are a football booster club with the same need ... we have a year-round online store (powered by Woocommerce) and seasonal sales using PayPal Here.  We need a way to keep our inventory in sync.

There is only one company so far that can integrate a shopping platform with paypal here. The company offered via paypal is Vend. If you already have you platform with wordpress, they do not have a integration system with paypal Here.

We are working on this now and will have something done before the end of the year.

It will be a WordPress plugin you install that makes a web-based app available at {site-url}/paypal-here. Loading this on your mobile device will allow you to create new orders using WooCommerce inventory data. You can then switch in to PayPal Here to process that order, and it will be added into WooCommerce accordingly.

We will also be setting it up so the web-based app can pull open/pending orders from WC so that you can quickly process them from within PayPal Here.
