How to make a secure payment for goods?!

Hello everybody,

I would kindly as anybody to hel me as in the following:

I live in eastern Europe. I was looking for some IT equipment in alibaba and found a few suppliers. The suppliers request payment ( around $50K) through paypal. My question is:

Is it secure for me to make the payment or what would be the most sensitive aspects of the deal to be protected by paypal?!

Legal bottom of paypal pages > user agreement > buyer protection.

Read up on buyer protection to see what coverage you get so you can risk assess your transactions.
