I want to sell some things online...my account on PayPal is setup with a direct express card (SSA, it's like a debit card) this is how I'm paid and the only "bank account" I have...so how would I receive the funds?? Does anyone know?

If you plan to sell online, it's best to have a "verified" Business account.

You can verify your account by completing two out of three steps:
* Linking and confirming your bank account
* Verifying your credit or debit card information
* Providing your social security number.

Assuming you currently have a Personal Account, without having a "bank account" linked and confirmed, there's a good chance you will encounter limits and holds on your funds.

It's not like I'm trying to set up a full blown business!!! I just want to get rid of a few things.....a few books, nick-nacks, etc...I'm not looking to make a million bucks here! I just want to be covered and protected when I sell the items....

it does not matter how much you plan to sell, buyers need protection too.
read about buyer and seller protection on Paypal and wherever you are selling,eg,Ebay

if you are in USA,the only way you can transfer fund from paypal is to a bank account, either linking a bank account or a bank issued debit card.

we dont know what kind of card you have?

you can also ask Paypal to send you a bank check ,which you can cash or deposit in bank account

there would be hold on your payments since yu are new in selling.
