Hi. The company I work for is having a special event that people have to register for, and pay a $20 fee. I set it up with a button in PayPal, put the button on our website, and the problem is the wording that appears when people click the button (see screen shot below). My boss doesn't want the word "Donate" to appear anywhere, because this is a registration fee, not a donation. Is it possible for me to change the language? Please advise. Thanks. -- Clare Higgins

If you're using the Donate button code, that's how it is - you can't change the wording as this is the intent of a donation. Basically you can't change certain wording on any of the PayPal Payments Standard buttons. For example, you could use a Buy Now button instead. However, the wording on the screen will say "Purchase Details". If you boss if OK with that, there's your solution. Else, you would have to use a product like Payments Pro, with Pro, the customer stays on your web site through the entire checkout process as the transaction info is processed behind the scenes. Pro requires a bit of programming knowledge and is priced at $30 a month plus the standard processing fees.
