Shipping not being charged nor shipping method displayed

I have started having problems with our shipping method not being displayed and also  Paypal sometimes will not charge any shipping, despite having everything set up correctly. I have not changed anything in my shipping calculations or methods and it just out of the blue started saying in the shipping details that "You haven’t added any shipping details." This is despite my having everything set up correctly for shipping. Then the next order it will correctly state 'Standard Shipping.'

There is no rhyme or reason to it and now I just had an international order come thru where Paypal did not charge a cent for shipping! This is costing us money as it's not the customers fault they weren't charged. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?? It apparently is a glitch in the Paypal system that needs to be fixed. I have even gone in and resaved my shipping calculations and settings but it still goes back and forth on what it displays in the shipping details and if it charges the correct amounts or not. Help!

This was confirmed by a phone call to PayPal yesterday. Certain browsers are still showing the old checkout which shows shipping fees. The new one doesn't, and the order comes in with no shipping fee charged.

This has to be a huge problem - is anyone else seeing this?

I'm losing money on shipping.

paypal confirmed the issue.  Something with calculating shipping by weight with certain browsers.  It sounded like it will be fixed within the next day or two. 

They gave me a credit for the last three days of missing shipping costs which was great but I suspect I'll be sending requests to buyers for shipping costs for the next couple of days.

I have had paypal for many years and havent had a problem. Today I start packing orders and see there is no shipping being charged. I use paypal charge by weight of items. Is this a problem or do they plan on fixing it?

This is a problem that started last week (and slowly I'm now starting to see other PayPal users talk about this). I called PayPal twice last week and the second rep I spoke with told me they're changing the checkout and they must have forgotten the shipping info and fees. I was told that since this wil be a huge problem, that it should only take a few days to remedy. I've been waiting, and still my orders are coming in with no shipping fee collected. I ended up turning off my store and directing customers to another site to buy my stuff.

Same happening here, shipping by weight usually...have been for years...nothing changed on this end and no shipping be charged.  ugh!

Yep,  it happened for me (no shipping fee applied) on an order received this morning (10/3/16).  C'mon Paypal!
