I have a case open on a seller who did not send the item I purchased. I started my case 4/29. The seller provided a tracking number but never shipped the item. The tracking number even shows usps never received package. Seller stated he was going to refund my money but never did. Here it is almost a month and Paypal has not returned the payment. It was thru paypal credit so I haven't lost anything but I hate seeing it on my home page.
This transaction was not thru eBay if that matters.
Here's my thinking. PayPal found the tracking number and is evaluating what to do or determine when to consider it not delivered. There may be a time period needed before a decision is made.
Did you contact USPS.com to investigate. That's what I do as sson as there is a problem. The seller can't fix it, so take the initiate to try to find the package.
I actually didn't take any extra action. Unless it automatically escalated? But at any rate the seller already told me he forgot to mail the package then said sorry I'll issue a refund. That was weeks ago. Still no refund or package. I think I need to call customer care. Hopefully they are open tomorrow.
Just to give an update, I called Paypal and was told this should be resolved within 24-72 hours.
Apparently with Paypal credit claims you only open the case and paypal takes care of the rest from that point. Also, I was told it takes up to 30 days.
I'll post again once resolved just to close out this thread.
