using PayPal between USA and Sweden, is it possible?

Is it possible to use a USA PayPal account to receive payment from someone in Sweden?

You can send a paypal payment to anyone with a paypal account worldwide that can accept paypal payments.

However make sure they send in your currency.

Thanks for your reply! I'm new to this. So, would they have to exchange money from Swedish kronor to USD prior to paying me? Thanks!

Paypal does it for them. You can do is 2 ways.

1. Send them a money request or invoice in USD and they pay it and before they pay paypal will tell them how much in their currency is deducted from their funding source ie card or bank account OR

2. They can go to send money > goods / services (if that is the right option and its not a family member etc) > put in your email address and the amount and then click on the drop down currency list and select USD. Again before they click submit paypal will tell them how much in their currency is deducted from their funding source ie card or bank account.
