Presidents Choice Financial (PC banking), has recently undergone restructuring in Canada and has re-named itself Simplii. I made a purchase whith Paypal today and it still came up as presidents choice. The purchase appeared to go through. Will I have to go into my banking details to adjust this name change or will it automatically be switched over by Paypal? All account numbers and details are still the same it's basically a corporate re-structuring with a name change.
There shouldn't be an issue with the bank, as long as the institution number doesn't change. If there's any changes with the bank, then you may need to update your account details. Hopefully, you shouldn't run into any issues. 🙂
