I recently used my paypal to purchase a subscription to an on line movie video service. As it terns out as I examined my account info that I apparently pre authorized yearly payments of this amount. I regret this purchase (last night) but can live with it but I certainly don't want it taken out every year.
I have tried to find where I could change or cancel pre authorized purchases. How could I do this?
Keep looking, you have to hover over the Profile option to get the my money option. It took me forever to find it myself. Of course they are pre-authorizing payments without asking for my password and since I have not set that option, I can't change it. Hope you have better luck!
I'm been fraud by a marchand, this is rediculous paypal autorize this kind of buisness, paypal should confirm by email that the amont of money will be take from my bank accound. but it's all automatic and the marchand can hide this in the term, that nobody have time to waste reading the agreement and we trust the marchand.
I searched and searched to cancel an automated payment and found nothing! I called the customer service phone number and Ali helped me. You have to click on the merchant information and you get the option to cancel the merchant's profile. I didn't see anything about payments so I didn't click on that. That is what you are supposed to click on to cancel a payment. It then says there will be no more recurring payments given to them. Hope this helps!
