First time I've had this come up, client states: We are not allow to use PayPal or officer check as payment at this agency here, the only allow payment method is giving the credit card over the phone if this would work for you?
If I get this customers credit card, can I enter it in my account for payment of a service I will provide? Or do they have to do this?
TIA

Probably not a good idea as it's quite possible your account could be frozen.
However there are solutions for situations such as this:
One would be to use PayPal Here, the app will permit you to manually key in the credit card info for card not present transactions. Note, using this method does have a higher transaction processing fee (this is standard practice for manual entries).
Another option is Virtual Terminal or VT. VT can be also be used for mail order, phone or fax transactions. VT is basically a desktop type application and can be combined with a USB type card swiper.
VT does have a $30 monthly fee plus the standard transaction processing fees. The PayPal Here App and card reader are free, works with a smartphone or tablet (iPhone or Android) and you only pay fees when you sell something.
