Canceled payment refund

I recently sent payment to friend for stuff only to realize the next day I put in an extra letter in her email. I noticed the status was unclaimed. I was able to cancel the transaction and have it refunded back to me. Here we are 5 days later still no refund showing on my card and I need it to resend to the correct email. Has anyone else ran into this problem and how long before it was put back on card. Thanks

Here's a few tips concerning refunds:

When a refund is issued, it does not go to your bank account. Any transactions you want going to your bank account must be initiated by you.

If you paid using your PayPal Account Balance or Bank Account, the refund is credited back to your PayPal Account Balance. Times can vary for many reasons, it can take from 1 day to several days depending on the funding source used by the party doing the refund.

　

If you paid using a credit card, the refund is credited back to that card. That process can take up to 2 weeks for the credit to appear on your card statement.

　

If you paid using a prepaid type card, the refund is credited back to that card however, as many cards are not reloadable, you have to contact the card issuer for assistance with getting the credit reapplied to the card.

Refunds are in the same currency and at the same conversion rate as the original payment.

I had used my bank card. Usually if I transfer money from PayPal to my card it takes 3 days. So this is frustrating that it still has not been credited to my card. I need to pay this lady as there was an error in email address.
