Hello,
my currency is EUR, i have purchased an item on ebay in GBP, and after seeing the paypal conversion rate i would like to pay it directly in GBP.
I have that amount of money in my bank account already in GBP, could i do a bank transfer from the bank account (linked to paypay) to paypal in GBP and then pay directly in GBP?
Now that i don't have enough money on my paypal account i can see the "other conversion options" link under the "confirm your order" ebay page, and the missing amount next to my credit/debit card (master card paypal), but when i had the button wasn't there!
I tryed changing the primary currency in GBP on paypal but nothing changed, also when i told this to ebay support they told me that i have to pay in euro with the paypal conversion, without any other information.
I would try recharging my paypal in GBP but i fear that i'll still be unable to pay without the paypal conversion, wasting the bank transfer fees.
Could you help me?
Thank you!

OK i'm confused, if the seller is listing in sterling ie GBP then why would they want euros?
All you do is complete checkout on ebay as that will pay the seller in GBP.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

If i do complete the checkout as usual i will pay in euro, then paypal will convert my euros to gbp with a 0.73 conversion rate, when now the conversion rate is almost 0.77.
The item costs almost 1500 pounds, this will mean that i will pay the item 80 euros more.
Is there a way for me to pay without using the paypal conversion rate but using my bank conversion rate or the money that i already have in gbp on my bank account?
Why shouldn't i be able to do that according to ebay support?

English isn't my native language, so i'm not sure to understand correctly what you are saying.
I'm posting what i see in a picture.
Now that i don't have enough money, and that it suggests me to use my credit cart for the remaining amount the "Other Conversion Option" as you can see is there.
When i have all the money on my paypal account i can't use that option and i have to use the PayPal conversion rate (the one you see under the credit card amount.
How can i use that option normally?
If i do a bank transfer to have that amount in GBP on my PayPal account (which i don't have now, because i don't want to waste my money on fees if it doesn't work) will the amount appear as a valid option that i can select to pay?
Thank you again!
