Yes the car can be used to pay for any ebay purchases.
Even though it is a ebay gift card, you will need a paypal account.
Once you have won the auction, you go to pay and just imput the card number in the git card /certificate area. A list of the gift cards numbers is then kept on your paypal account with the balance.
If there is a balance you just imput the card number again on the next purchase.
