Ebay seller fees one-time payment. Paypal listed several old addresses...

So I made a one-time payment of my Ebay selling fees vial Paypal. The transaction began on eBay and ended through Paypal. When the paypal popup came up it had several (shipping) addresses, including every one of my old ones, and my maiden name and every person I've ever had something shipped to (purchased at eBay).

Nowhere here in my profile on Paypal can I find this list of addresses to edit. I also went into my addresses setting on eBay and looked at the addresses there. They are not there.

Where can I find this list of addresses in Paypal, so I can weed them out? It wanted to default to my maiden name and an old shipping address. That is absurd to me. Paypal definitely has my correct name and address in my profile, but that is the only one I can find here.

Has anyone else encountered this, and how did you edit that list of addresses?

Here's two options for getting rid of old addresses:

Login to your PayPal Account, click on the Request Money tab.  Look for the more Invoicing Tools link and hover your cursor over that link.  You should see another menu with Address Book listed.  Click on Address Book.  There you can edit your address book.

Should you not find the addresses you're looking for, the next option would be to contact customer support for assistance as they can resolve your issue.

OK. I get email addresses when I do that, but not actual mailing addresses. These were physical mailing addresses.

Contacting support, as I have done twice for this exact issue, is pointless. I have asked them to remove the old addresses that do not show up anywhere in my profile and continue to get no responce.

When I make a paypal purchase from ANY website and go thru the paypal checkout process the first (second third forth fith and sixth) address that shows up is an old address spelt in six different ways. I select my new address from all the way at the bottom of the drop down and check the "use this address as default" and complete my purchase. Great, that should fix it right? NO. The next purchase goes to the old address.... and as it's nearly impossible to get ahold of the shipping department, most times it makes it all the way to the old address's door step....

Seriously, I'm not the only person to ever have changed addresses. Support needs to get this fixed, chances are I'm just going to start using my CC at the sites rather than RISK having another package lost in the mail while praying that the seller is able to catch the package before it leaves their facility.

have seen this same issue in archives and solution is never reached.  I honestly think PayPal does NOT KNOW how to resolve it.
