HELP! customers get error at checkout "Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant"

Quite a few of my online customers are getting this error message at checkout: "Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested." Can someone Please Help?! How can I fix this? Or what do I tell the customer to do to resolve the issue? Thanks in Advance!!

WOOOW! I thought this would be an easy fix. Something like "address field has an error" like missing a digit in the zip code or something like that.

I actually had the same problem on ebay trying to pay via the checkout with credit card directly. Kept coming up with that error message until i logged into PP to pay for the item. Seems to be ebay related

Same problem here since mid of August. Lots of transactions lots and can't find a way out. Checout from my online shop works perfectly for European based address but messes up with USA, Canada and other "overseas".....
