Is there any way to block a user (via their email /PP address) from future transactions (either sending me or receiving money from me)? I have seen similar but not the same question asked earlier but no replies.
I don't think PayPal has such a block. The closest would be to block anyone paying from the "Send Money" tab. This would block unsolicited payments, but allow payments from eBay checkout, PayPal invoices and your website. Go to your PayPal payment receiving preferences to set the block.
Thank you so much, Sandy. Really appreciate it. But could you tell me where those preferences could be found? All I can find is the "account" tab, which only lets me edit my bank info and personal stuff. I cannot find anything under "settings" or "preferences."
From your PayPal account Summary page, scroll down and click on "Seller Preferences" (left side of page) and select "Update" next to the "Block payments" section.
Check the box for "Block payments from users who... Initiate payments from the Pay Anyone subtab of the Send Money tab" and click on the "Save" button.
This option is not available for Personal accounts.
