How do I find id/reference number please?

i want to add funds from my bank account.  Following instructions it's essential to quote this ref but where do I find this?

Click on "add funds" and there are 2 options > click on the one you want and the ref number is on that page.

Odd you want to add funds but if you do and its because you have a neg balance then there is a quicker way to do so.

Thanks, yes I have zero in my PP account and want to top it up.  Thought transferring from my bank was quickest?

Hi you never need funds in your paypal balance to buy things. Paypal take direct from any funding source you have linked to your paypal account.

Paypal normally credit the seller first and then paypal take the wait for the funds to process through to them so you get your item more quickly.

But they only do this if you fund your paypal payment via a card OR from your bank account / with a back up card linked as well.

If you ONLY have a bank account then you may have to take the wait for the funds to transfer through to the seller.
