I have the PayPal Here Android app installed on my mobile phone. Supposedly I can log in using my email address and password (that combo works fine) or mobile phone number and PIN. I am trying to set up things to get a PIN and to do so I contacted PayPal.
Their email said to:
Log in to your PayPal account. I DID
Click "Profile" near the top of the page. I DID
Click "My personal info." I DON'T HAVE PERSONAL INFO BUT I HAVE BUSINESS INFO SO I CHOSE THAT
Click "Update" beside "Phone." I DID
Click "Set or change your PIN." THIS IS NOT A CHOICE SO I CANNOT MOVE ON. MY MOBILE PHONE IS "LINKED"
Create or change your PIN and click "Save." OF COURSE I CANNOT GET THIS FAR.
My mobile app does not have PROFILE. it has ACCOUNT and all leads go NOWHERE. I want to change my login pin and somehow I managed to change the pin on my debit card but the pin on my mobile app is still the old number. PayPal has made this simple change ridiculously hard. I tried to call and was put on hold forever having to listen to their ads on speakerphone while I was trying to get some WORK done. STILL NOT RESOLVED.
