Missing payment method when paying for eBay items

I have a confirmed bank account and 3 debit cards on my account. As of about mid-March, when I use eBay checkout, it is only giving me the option to use 2 out of the 3 debit cards. There is nothing wrong with the missing card that it shouldn't be there. Can someone please help - thanks.

You would need to contact customer support, perhaps something has changed.

Are you experiencing this? Do you actually have CC's available? If so, you're lucky!!

Hello... I have to say, that although I am sorry this is happening to you, I am so relieved to find that I am not alone. For two weeks now I have had my master card disabled and only given the option to pay my sellers via eCheck. Nothing is wrong with my credit card; so, I called PayPal. They couldn't tell me what the problem was; so, I wrote to the President, Mr. Donahue. The very next day a rep from PayPal’s escalation department called me. He said many others are having similar problems and that it was because eBay was changing something. I didn't get any details. Honestly, I don't care. I just want to be able to pay my sellers and No I don’t want to use my checking account. There is no money in that account but minimum to keep it open. The rep then did something at his end to "force" the payment to go through.  I thanked him and told him I was hanging on to his number. Sure enough three days later I can't make payment using my credit card.

*NOTE*   I did learn by playing around and trying different things that; if I made a $1 donation to the seller's choice of charity which is provided at the bottom of one of the payment pages that THEN it would work by opening the window where my Master Card is a choice for me to select as my payment method. The other thing that worked allowing me to use my Master Card to pay with was when I choose to "Pay ALL of my sellers together " Normally, I choose to pay my sellers one at time so that I can continue to shop in the sellers store and seller would then hold my items until I am finished so they could then combine my shipping.

Hope those two tricks help someone if they find they need to pay someone a.s.a.p. and need to use paypal to do it.

Today AGAIN I have to call PayPal to have them force about eight payments through. I figure they have got to be sick of hearing from me. I was going to stop shopping on eBay until this blew over but I can't stop myself.

Please keep me posted if you hear of any new tricks that would stop the disabling of my master card. Thank you in advance.

Kimberly

Thanks Kimberly, for those tips -- I'll see if either of them work for me the next time I have to make a payment. I've also noticed along with this problem that my shipping address says "unconfirmed" when looking at my receipts on the Paypal website, but in the receipt sent to my e-mail address, it is properly marked as "confirmed".

I don't like to use my checking account either; I have these 3 debit cards and I rotate the payments among them, and that's what works for me.

as a reminder and not sure if you realised this or not, but when you hit, pay all at one time, you can choose which ones not  to pay then.  all you have to do is to go through your items and hit the X by the item and it will remove it.  that is what I do if I am still bidding on some items or think I will from a seller.
