Not enough funds on Amex gift card

Hi! I am planning on buying something online and i will be using my amex gift card. However it does not have enough fund for the item that I like. Can I have separate payment? Like paying for the remaining money with another card? Thanks!!

Anyone?  I've got two Amex gift cards that I would like to use prior to using a credit card for a large purchase.  It appears paypal only allows one credit card/gift card for a purchase?

How can I stack cards for a payment??

Apologies for the delay on addressing your concerns. Regrettably there is no way to split a payment between two funding sources in the manner you're looking for. You'd be able to make a payment using a PayPal balance with one card to back that up in the event your balance is insufficient, but there isn't presently a way to charge two cards for one payment. We may explore this in the future, but I couldn't say when or if that would happen. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. 😞
