Online Job and Unverified Account

I am starting a job online and they pay with PayPal. Is it possible to still receive payments this way, even with an unverified PayPal account status? If not, then is there any way to get around this. I have been trying to become verified for quite a while now, but I am having some difficulty in this matter. They say that they are going to send 2 deposits to my bank account and I have to enter what the two deposits are in order for my account to be verified. However, I am not seeing anything that is being posted to my bank account, so this is why I cannot be verified. Can anyone help me please?

You will need to have a verified account, else you'll just run into issues trying to use it.

 

As for receiving the deposits in order to complete the process.  Suggest checking with your bank to ensure that you can do ACH transfers - most banks allow this but, there are exceptions.  Also ensure that you're using a checking account verses a savings account as there are limitations with savings accounts.

 

Note, some banks will combine the two PayPal deposits which creates a new issue.  If you received only one deposit amount, you need to contact PayPal's Customer Support for assistance. This can be done thru email or calling direct.

 

To use the email form:

* Login to your Account

* Click on the Contact Us link

* On the Send Email page

Select a topic = Bank Account/Credit Card

Select a sub-topic = Random Deposits

* In the box - Enter last 4 digits of your bank account

* Answer Question - Have you contacted the bank and located the two random deposits?

Yes, I have both random deposits.

Yes, but I only have one random deposit.

No.

* Click on the Send button.

 

PayPal should contact you regarding the confirmation of your U.S. bank account. Note, it may take a little time for them to get back to you as the responses are not immediate.
