Paypal Credit Payoff with another Credit Card?

I would like to pay off my Paypal owing balance with a credit card that is offering a promotional advance. Do I have to send a check to Paypal for that or can it be arranged online from the other credit card company? If it can be done online, what is my Paypal Credit number to use? Thanks.

Best to print your detailed PayPal Credit statement (the one available online) and follow instructions for making a payment.  You can pay by mailed check.  If you can't find the address, call PayPal Credit at the number on the back of the full monthly statement (downloaded PDF file).

You can pay your PayPal Credit from you linked checking account or your PayPal balance.  You could do a cash wirthdrawal from your new credit card, deposit into your checking account, and then pay PayPal credit.  Cash advances from a credit card may have fees and no promotional rewards.  Youl would need to purchase something.

Thank you. So we cannot do "balance tranfers" as such from the credit card to Paypal, then? I suspected not. If I want to avoid running the transaction through my checking account, does Paypal take checks as payment? Such as just writing a promotional check off of the other credit card and sending it directly to Paypal?

Thank you again, that is what I will do. It was a gift and I do not want the recipient to see how much I spent, lol!
