Scammed with a Chargeback for a CS:GO Knife

Hey guys, so I was recently scammed out of a Battle Scarred Flip Knife | Crimson Web on Steam. The money had been in my account for approximently an hour before I received an email that the payment was on hold. I'm not sure what I can do to get the money back into my account or even the item back. I have a thread open on Steam Rep Forums and it is under review.

Did the buyer file for non receipt of item / item received but not as described or / unauthorised transaction??

I'm having a similar problem. I sent an invoice through PayPal to my buyer, got an email saying I'd received an instant payment, sent the item and now I have no money. In Paypal the invoice doesn't show any indication that it's been paid and unfortunately for me the buyer didn't have any kind of rating on eBay and the transaction was also done outside of eBay.

Sounds as if the email was a "spoof"??

Did you send the item to Nigeria or similar??
