Sending money to Indonesia?

I want to send money to a friend in Indonesia, but I saw another post that says the Indonesian Rupiah is not supported by PayPal.

What happens if I send money (USDollars) from my PayPal to his?

What is the best way for us to do this?

Correct,  Rupiahs are not supported.   If you send in USD, the receiver will receive in USD, it's up to them to decide what to do next.

You can send funds in any of the supported currencies.  Does not matter which as the receiver will have to convet it.
