I was on a site and trying to buy 2 of their services along with a downloadable product (app). I realized I did not want this product any longer once I realized that I had paid and they never released the app unto me to download. Now, anyone who purchases downloadable content it becomes immediately available unto you. This was specifically greyed out and I would not use it. I contacted the Owner who seemed very nice and said everything would be fixed two days later on Monday. Why should a paying customer need to wait until Monday? They have a 14 day money back guarantee and when I requested when the Owner left me on read in the conversation. Next thing I know I send another message asking him how to go about doing this? I also submitted a ticket to their site about the refund. I then realize that the Owner himself blocked me. So I'm out of money and blocked? This comes across as a scam to me. Since my paypal is listing as Temporary Authorization can this be stopped immediately?

You can't stop a payment already initiated.

Why would it be a scam if your didn't understand the complete use of the purchase website?

It seems that more research should be done about a seller before making a purchase.

It also seems that it is reallyh important to understand PayPal buyer protection policies, especially for virtual  items.

Many small businesses don't have weekend business hourse.  You'lljust need to contact the seller and PayPal on Monday; phone calls are the most effecient.

How wouldn't this be a scam? No where in their policy does it state that they hold what you pay for? Have you ever paid for anything downloadable? I have bought several things that you can download and once paid for you get it immediately. This thing I cannot even click. Also, do not assume here that I did not look into the company. Clearly, I did look into it... I searched on youtube and even saw people do reviews and recommend them. What I did not effectively look up as I am sure most people do not is if I request a refund how do I go about that? Why would I search something like that... most people don't believe they'll be needing a refund. Yet, when you look up the website and type in refund that's when you see things come up about scams. I believe if one does not honor their own policy it is a scam. If you don't believe it to be as you clearly don't based off of your repsonse then that's your opinion. Thanks for the input regardless.

I have talked with Paolo, okay we will provide you the refund, but we have already contacted the author for this purchase, because for our policy, we cannot provide a refund for that reason.

So if you could  proceed with the complete new payment we will provide you the refund or if you can buy just the source code and we will provide you the refund.

This is the message I received via e-mail from one of the people at this business. How can you say you offer a 14 day money back guarantee I'm literally now in day 2 of this and have not dowloaded any of your content and this is what you do?

Seems to be a disreptubabl business to avoid in future.

It's time to take action and force a refund to see if PayPal will help--and then stay away buying from high risk virtual item sites.

I'm so confused on how to go about this. I tried calling and they're not open yet... but I couldn't dispute it because it is still pending. Although, as you can see they will be claiming the funds today. I'm trying to act as fast as I can but now I don't know what to do. I read that PayPal can do a forceful refund

I want to thank you for your help. PayPal immediately gave me my funds back into my bank account today.
