Alright, so I sold this little thing I made on a computer game and a guy was going to give me 10$ via Paypal for it. After giving it to him, he gave me this 12 digit code composed of numbers and letters. I have no idea what to do with this code and I'm not able to contact him right now. Is this code actually real and able to used for something or did I get scammed?

Sorry to say, that 12 digit code is pretty much meaningless as far as I can tell. It's too short for a PayPal transaction ID, and if he had sent you the money via PayPal you'd see it in your balance. Hopefully you'll be able to get in touch with him and sort this out.
