Unable to make international payment

Hi I keep getting the following error message, it appears to be when i try to make a payment in another currency as I've been able to make a payment in my own currency for another purchase.

We're sorry, but we can't send your payment right now.

Any ideas what this issue is?  I have enought money in my paypal account to make this payment.

If you mean you have funds in your paypal account balance then they need to be in the currency of the person receiving those funds.

Hi 

thank you for you reply.  But I'm not sure that's quite right as I have sent numerous interational payments in many different currency's.

As previously mentioned I'm able to send other Stirling payments but it's not accepting the Euro at the present time.

Yes you can make as many international payment in any currencies as you like from your bank account OR credit card via paypal.

All i am saying is that if you are using your paypal "balance" then it has to be in the currency of the person you are sending to.
