Wrong Billing Address

PayPal keps resetting my default billing address to an address I have not lived in for years.  I forgot to manually change it when I was buying plane tickets, and the transaction went through.  Will this cause problems?  Can I change the billing address after I complete the purchase?

Hi sgg4,

It sounds like your old address is still marked as your "home" address. Before removing this address, you will need to update the billing address linked to your credit/debit cards and then mark that new address as your "home" address. Once updated, you can then remove that old address.

As for changing your address after the purchase has completed, that wouldn't be a possibility. I would recommend reaching out to the merchant directly to see if this will cause any issues from their side.

I have the same problem, and have changed the card addresses and tried to mark my new address as my billing address, but it keeps telling me to go back to my cards and change those - but they're already done!

I found the answer to my own problem - if I want to change my billing address, edit the "Primary" address.

You must ALWAYS have a Primary adress.
