ok. so a relative wanted to send me some money. i told my relative to send me the money via paypal.
i gave right email address and relative did send the money through paypal. relative got the message that i need to claim the money and then the money would be in my bank after i claim the money.
it seems that on my relative's end, the payment went through. however, i have not received an email from paypal telling me about the money. i have logged on into my paypal account and my balance is at zero. i do not see any link or anything letting me know i have money on paypal.
why is this happenning?
it says my profile its 80 percent complete..i am not sure if this is why am not getting my payment.

Are you sure your relative sent payment to your correct email address? Check the relative's "Receipt for your PayPal payment" email message which he/she should have received after sending the payment to see if there are any spelling errors.
Is your PayPal account properly setup to receive payments... have you previously received payments to this PayPal account?

I have the same problem. I have received hundreds of payments and even received one today after the one that shows I have not yet claimed it. I can't find the money anywhere.

Hi!
So I received a money from some work I've done for them and I literally accused them of not paying me, which was not true because they sent me a screenshot where is clearly states that my payment is unclaimed. On the other hand, when I go to my PayPal account, there are no uclaimed payments and I didn't receive any emails about it. The email at which he sent it is the same as my PayPal email address so that is fine. Where did my payment go and what should I do?
Please help me, it would be highly appreciated!

Same thing was happening to me. Try confirming your email address/ making sure it's listed in your profile. Hit the down arrow by your name, click the email button and confirm the email if it's listed there, otherwise add it and confirm it. Hope this helps!

I had similar situation and figure out the solution 🙂
If you account shows 80% complete, that means, you need to click on your profile page and confirm your email address.
Once you confirm your email address, the money that was sent to you through your email paypal account will show up. Then you can calim your money with a click.
Hope this helps!
