I have payments I sent "pending", not completed yet. Has that amount already been deducted from my "available" balance?
Thanks

I've been wondering that too, and I'm a bit worried because my funds are quite low right now. Any help would be a life-saver.
Also, it would be best if pending debit card payments were deducted from available funds because I hate getting surprises.

In my first hand experience payments that are pending have NOT been deducted from any source yet, including the balance you have in PP.
Also it's important to note and I found out the hard way, that "pay after delivery" payments will NOT be deducted from your PP balance. I found that very strange but these are deducted from your bank {payment source} regardless of how much you have in your PP balance.
Normally payments are paid with your PP balance FIRST but not in "pay after delivery" transactions, for whatever reason.

Can't find the answer to this anywhere. So, I called Paypal. My question is, are pending transactions taken from the available balance? The answer is "yes the funds have been captured". Finally.....an answer....
