Changing payment type after purchase is made

I purchased some tickets through StubHub and meant to put in my credit card for payment.  I did not see that it already was defaulting to paypal.  Once I saw it, I didn't think it would be a problem since I had room in my paypal credit balance.  However, it went through to my bank account and was returned, which resulted in my being charged a returned item fee.  The back up card that is on the purchase is expired, so I added the card that I was going to put it on originally.   How can I get the charge moved to that card so that I don't have to pay ANOTHER returned item fee?  Is it even possible?  I submitted a form letting them know that there is a problem, but it gave me a date of 9-7-17 for it to be resolved and I need something sooner than that.

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

You need to contact your bank about NSF fees.  PayPal will likely make a second attempt and you will have a second NSF fee, so put cash into your bank today.

You can't change a past payment.

You need to really pay attention to funding options when you make a purchase.

Furthermore, PayPal will only use PayPal Credit when all qualifications are me to so really doesnt work for backup funding when PayPal will select the source with least risk. This is why it is so important to maintain sufficient funds in your bank accout to cover your payment, just in case.

Putting the cash into my account isn't an option as I bought tickets for several people, not just myself.  Also, that account is not local, so getting funds in there quickly is not an option either.

I appreciate your direction on watching the payment, but don't need to be talked down to.  This is the first time in several years of having this that this has happened.  I'm not completely ignorant. Thanks.

Youre lack of knowledge, however, did show with your post.

Since in 10+ years it's never been a problem, this was not a lack of knowledge, but taking for granted that the place to enter my credit card info would be on the following page when ordering on a website that I was unfamiliar with.  I, also, am not blaming anyone for what happened nor asking paypal or the bank to refund any charges, nor did I allude to doing that in my original post explaining the situation.  I realize that it was my fault and take responsibility for that.  All that I was trying to do was to change where the payment was coming from to try to keep from getting another charge in a few days.

Also, I was able to talk to the help desk, and it is taken care of, so your help was wrong.

Take your rudeness elsewhere.

Well, your original post was not really clear what happened and my response was based on that post.
