Digital Ocean Receipt?

I got an email from Paypal saying I had a receipt from my payment to Digital Ocean. It says it was $100. I have no idea what Digital Ocean even is or what I would be charged/getting a receipt for. Money has not been taken out of my account but I am afraid it might in the future. Like I said, I have no idea what this is. Could it be a scam?

Do you have a notice of the transaction in your Account Activity ?? If no, then it's possible the email you received is a spoof. If that's the case, then:
* Forward the entire email to: spoof@paypal.com.
* Do not alter the subject line or forward the message as an attachment.
* Delete the suspicious email from your inbox.
* Never click on any links within the email or open any attachments.
Look at the email address domain and wording in the email, grammar, salutation, spelling, etc. If any of these are questionable, it's most likely a spoof.

Thanks for that info, @Snow-Cat! Those are great tips regarding spoof emails. If this is a legitimate charge that @HollyG5 sees in their PayPal account however, we would want to get this reported!
You can report any unrecognized charges using the steps listed here. I would also advise checking your billing agreements to ensure you don't have an active one with Digital Ocean. Finally, you'll want to change your password to resecure the account.
