Hello! Used the computer to send $150 to a friend from bank account, text verified but never received an email and nothing is on summary or activity and that person hasn't received the pending amount. Does it maybe just take longer to appear? Or will the bank need to verify with me also? It could be maybe i mis-clicked somewhere and it didn't send but i dont want to risk sending again and it send the amount twice.
What do you mean by 'text verified'? You sent money through desktop computer via website though.
Was it an eCheck? Or instant transfer? Instant transfer is by payment by bank, but backed with credit card. PayPal performs a service with Instant Transfer where they send the money ahead instantly to recipient and waits for the money from your bank to clear.
So my friend made a "paypal me" thing so i just clicked the link he sent and we first tested it with only doing $1 and that showed up on the activity report but went on the computer/desktop and did a larger amount. When i typed in the amount it said that it was sending a text to verify and the text basically said "if you are trying to send___ amount text 1 for yes or 2 for no" so i just sent 1 for yes and the computer loaded a little check mark. But since then its not on the activity/summery report or on my friends pending page and it was never taken out of my bank account. Im thinking maybe i just maybe missed something and never sent it or i read some people said it could take up to three days to even show up on the activity feed.
