Haven't received money

I'm American, and my British girlfriend sent me a large sum of money, Paypal has withdrawn it from her bank yet it's been weeks and I have yet to receive it, Paypal won't say why I haven't just that they are fixing it, multiple calls and weeks later still nothing. What do I do?

What currency did you send you?

 

Was it sterling or dollars?

 

If the former is your account set up to accept sterling?

 

Does the transaction show at all in your paypal account?

 

What does it say next to the transaction in your g/f account?

 

Does it say pending and if so is there a cancel option or does it say completed?

 

How did she fund the payment?

She send me pounds, it's from her bank account, the transaction hasn't shown in my account at all, and I don't know if my account is setup to accept pounds yet the money isn't even in my PayPal, so there no money to accept and transfer. Although the money has been withdrawn from her bank account, i believe it say its processing but it's been like that for weeks and the money isn't in her account anymore, and Paypal say that not right but they have yet to give a reason y it's not in my account.

They are posting on the U.S forum and state ''I am American'' so my guess is they are in America.

Click on the word details next to your paypal balance > in the pop up click on ''manage currencies'' > then add pounds sterling as an accepted currency and mark it primary (you can change it back later) > then see if the funds show up.

Did that and nothing shows up, I have sent money to her before and she always gets a email to accept the payment yet I never did.

Check your payment receiving settings aka Block Payments in your seller preferences on the Summary page on the left side bar.
