How do I transfer money to someone else's bank account?

I want to send money from my paypal account to another persons bank account.   I checked the earlier message of the same title ( late 2013 ) and hoped that by now that it is possible ..

You would have to link their bank account information like you would with your bank account information. If you live in the United States, you can go to https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-link-a-bank-account-to-my-paypal-account-faq686 to add the person's bank account to your PayPal account. When you are done, I would strongly recommend removing the bank account from your PayPal account unless the person tells you otherwise. To do that, and if you live in the United States, you can go to https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/how-do-i-remove-a-bank-account-from-my-paypal-account-faq... to follow those steps.

I wanted to pop in to clarify, it is very important that you do not link a bank belonging to another person to your PayPal account. The financial instruments linked to your account should be yours and yours alone. If you want to transfer funds to another person, they would have to open a PayPal account to receive a payment from you, and then they would be able to withdraw the funds to their own bank account.
