Is there a dollar limit on seding money

Hello Community,

Just set up a new account connected to my Visa Card.

Trying to send a $8,000.0 to a friend.

$1 send went through but

$8,000 send will not go through.

Not a problem with credit limit on my Visa Card (I called Chase Bank and asked).

Does Pay pal have a limit on sending money this way?

Have you "verified" your account - if no, there are limits for both sending and withdrawing.

There is a $10,000 cap on transactions meaning if you wanted to send $20,000, you have to send 2 transactions of $10,000 each.
